Plastic Crimewave Sound headline the Empty Bottle

Plastic Crimewave Sound (myspace) headline the Empty Bottle tonight, Tuesday, February 24. Also on the bill are Rabble Rabble (myspace) and Sugarfoot (myspace). $8, doors at 9 PM. 21+. (The Great Society Mind Destroyers [myspace] were originally scheduled — and are still listed various places on the net — but unfortunately cannot make it because of an accident.) We estimate Plastic Crimewave Sound should be going on around 11:30 PM. The Empty Bottle is at 1035 N Western Ave in Chicago (map).

Jim DeRogatis has a nice write-up on Steve Krakow/Plastic Crimewave/PCWS/this show in Friday’s Sun-Times.

Plastic Crimewave dot com

We added it to our links page when it was announced yesterday, but just wanted to help be sure the word gets out: Plastic Crimewave now has a homeplace on the Web, plasticcrimewave.com — and it’s definitely worth checking out. Blogging at the Reader, Philip Montoro observes parenthetically, “It must be very strange for him to work in a medium where he can’t draw and letter everything by hand.”
